Does the jigsaw of Life ever make you question.

Image
Have you ever asked yourself "why?!" That is in any specific situation or current circumstance in your life you have questioned, what the... is going on and why me, why now, why why why?. If you haven't then Who or What are you? Donald Trump maybe?!.  Seriously though we all have periods like this in our lives.  Sometimes they appear to be random events/circumstances that are effecting us, occasionally they are a direct result of someone else's actions or decisions, and sometimes they are a consequence of our own choices (good or bad), actions, or words. I have often asked the same question myself, and as I have gotten older and entered my 40's I have learnt that these are all seasons in my life and I have survived thus far. Admittedly, there were some touch and go situations and circumstances.  I was asked by a Psychiatric Nurse what are my regrets or do I regret any of my choices, actions etc.   I will add at this point that I am deliberately using the wor

The amazing brush strokes will make you look again at life!

I find it amazing, in fact fascinating how many people look at the fine details of every circumstance.  Art critics will analyse, study, debate, critique the minute details of artworks, sometimes surmising what the artist intended, wanted to portray, how they wanted us to feel etc.  However, for the "uneducated" like myself I just look at the picture, sculpture etc and think... Interestingly in this time of #selfisolation , #lockdown etc..  many people are sharing their thoughts on being socially isolated, locked indoors away from general society.  Many are talking about how it affects their mental health, their social life, their activity state, their boredom levels, even what they miss enough that it willbe the first thing they do/see/eat when "free". But I ask, what is the fuss all about? Seriously!  After all, prior to this #lockdown my late father-in-law, and my wife (his primary carer) both experienced all the same symptoms of social and self isolation. Yes, this is it not a new phenomena. For many years this has effected many elderly, frail, those with disabilities, those with mental health issues, and those who chose to care for them.   My father-in-law was unable to leave the house, his psychological state was such that he could not use social media, the telephone, and physically could not even use the written word.  Most if not all
